What this is
People ask the same questions again and again. This site exists so that an answer given once by an authorized scholar can be found by everyone who needs it afterwards, instead of being asked and answered from the beginning each time.
Questions are submitted privately. An authorized scholar reviews each one, and where the guidance would help others it is published here without the questioner’s name. Every published answer records which scholar it is attributed to, which madhhab it follows, the topics it is filed under, when it was published, and its reference.

Two things can happen to a question, and the difference matters. An answer may be published anonymously, which adds the guidance to this knowledge base with no name attached to it. Or a question may stay private only, answered for the person who asked it and never published here at all.

What is expected of readers in return is set out in the guidelines: do not attempt to identify a questioner, and do not republish someone else’s question in a way that would identify them.
What you will not find here
These absences are design decisions, not missing features.
- No public comments and no reply threads.
- No debate between readers, and no user-to-user responses.
- No votes, no ratings, no reputation scores and no rankings between answers or scholars.
The site is a reference, not a forum. If an answer does not cover your situation, the way forward is a new private question rather than a public reply.
