Answer
The presence of a deceased body should itself be enough of an admonition for a solemn, reflective mood; the funeral prayer should not be delayed for lectures, songs, or announcements. If delayed while waiting for the wali of the deceased or for a larger congregation, people should be told to make dua or recite Surah Yasin or al-Ikhlas silently, in their own language, rather than through speeches or eulogies.
