Does everyone have a preordained spouse, even those who never marry
Question
Isn't it that not everyone is preordained to have a spouse, since many die without marrying? Is it that whether we end up with a spouse or not, it was always preordained -- that for some it was preordained they would marry, while for others it was preordained they would never marry?

Correct. In the qadar of Allah, by His wisdom and decree, some people will get married and others will not. Those who will, will not end up with someone who was not preordained for them. Rather, like everything else in existence, what is known to Allah pre-eternally will come to pass. It does not mean a spouse was preordained for everyone but some die before finding them, because that would mean some of Allah's qada and qadar do not come to pass, which is incorrect.
