Finishing a fast after moon-sighting differs from a followed community's declaration

Answer
Only if one believes that it is Eid. Otherwise, if one believes it is the last day of Ramadan, one must fast, except with a valid excuse (sickness, travel, extreme difficulty). One should keep a low profile and advise close family and friends privately if public advice would cause uncontainable fitnah and division.
