**Q: Is Qurbani necessary for a traveller?** A: Not necessary for a musafir (travelling 78km or more, not intending 15+ days at the destination), though rewarded if performed.
**Q: What is the best time to perform Qurbani?** A: After Eid salaah on the 10th of Zul Hijjah, until sunset on the 12th — preferably on the first day.
**Q: How many people can share one animal?** A: A cow, bull, or camel suffices for the wajib Qurbani of seven persons; a sheep, goat, or ram for one person only.
**Q: Can intention be made for multiple people in one Qurbani for the deceased?** A: The reward (thawaab) of a nafl (optional) Qurbani may be intended for multiple people in one animal.
