Repeating istikharah for seven days without a clear sign
Question
If a person performs istikharah for seven days and receives no sign, should they continue or decide on their own?

Answer
If there is time before the decision must be made, continue making istikharah. If not, after seven times, make the best decision possible and trust that khayr lies in it -- the advice of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas, who said that after the seventh, whatever decision is made is the one to which Allah has guided.
